Datopia is committed to ensuring that there is no inappropriate, offensive or illegal content (incitement to hatred, endangerment, child pornography, etc.) Your safety is our priority.
The meeting process is multi-stage (games, visio, messaging, interactions), designed to develop good connections while keeping you safe. At every stage, you retain control over what you want to share.
To reinforce the reliability of our profiles, we have set up a selfie validation system. This verifies that each profile corresponds to the person behind the screen, to prevent identity theft. The application also features a secure biometric authentication system to protect users from fraudulent profiles (fake AI profiles, identity theft, swindlers, etc.).
To further limit the creation of fake profiles, users will not be able to create multiple accounts on different devices.
You can declare your gender identity and other essential characteristics on your profile. This allows you to match only with profiles that match your preferences and avoid uncomfortable situations. Datopia's inclusive approach and strong values mean that we welcome all types of people in a safe, non-judgmental and non-discriminatory way.

Total control over your data: Initially, a very limited amount of your data is accessible to everyone (mini bio). You choose what information you share with other users. Your personal data remains confidential until YOU decide to reveal it after a certain number of exchanges or interactions, and vice versa.

Use only photos and information that accurately represent you. False profiles, lies or identity theft are prohibited.

Caring communication
Whether you're playing, messaging or video chatting, always be polite and courteous. Harassment, threats or intimidation will not be tolerated.

Prevents ghosting
If you're no longer interested in a conversation or connection, show respect and communicate this rather than cutting off all contact without explanation.

Consent first
All interactions must be based on mutual consent. If the other person is uncomfortable, respect their decision.

No to discrimination
Datopia welcomes users of all origins, genders and sexual orientations. All forms of discrimination are strictly forbidden.

No spam or promotions
Do not use Datopia to advertise, promote services or send unsolicited messages.

Report abuse
If you witness abusive or inappropriate behavior, use the reporting and blocking tools available on the application.

Exchange security
Remain vigilant about the information you share with strangers, and never communicate sensitive data without a valid reason.
Any abusive behavior will be dealt with in accordance with the law, and in the event of excesses, action may be taken before the competent courts. Datopia cannot be held responsible for individual user behavior, but we will do our utmost to ensure a safe environment.
